A devastating house fire in Bradford has resulted in the tragic loss of a mother and her three young children, with police confirming their identities and launching a murder investigation.

West Yorkshire Police have identified the victims of a tragic house fire in Bradford as Bryonie Gawith, aged 29, and her three children: Denisty Birtle, nine, Oscar Birtle, five, and Aubree Birtle, 22 months. The incident occurred early Wednesday morning on Westbury Road, resulting in the deaths of all four family members.

A 39-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and is currently in critical condition due to injuries sustained during the fire. Detective Chief Inspector Stacey Atkinson stated that initial inquiries suggest the fire was started deliberately, and emphasized that the investigation appears to be related to domestic circumstances.

Atkinson expressed her condolences to the victims' family, friends, and the local community, describing the situation as 'absolutely devastating.' She urged anyone with information or footage pertinent to the investigation to contact West Yorkshire Police.
