A devastating house fire in Bradford has resulted in the deaths of a woman and her three children, prompting a murder investigation as a man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
In a tragic incident in Bradford, a woman and her three young children have lost their lives in what authorities are treating as a deliberate house fire. Emergency services were alerted just after 2 a.m. on August 21 to a blaze on Westbury Road. Upon arrival, responders found the 29-year-old mother deceased at the scene, while the three children, aged nine, five, and one, were rushed to the hospital but sadly succumbed to their injuries.
A 39-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in critical condition due to injuries sustained in the fire. West Yorkshire Police have indicated that preliminary investigations suggest the fire was intentionally set, leading to an ongoing murder inquiry. Detectives have described the incident as domestic-related, and they are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to assist in their investigation.
